Video // Kaylah and Elycia's Thrift Adventure

As I mentioned yesterday, Elycia and I kicked some serious butt over the weekend. We made a vlog, wrote a tutorial, took the most awesome outfit pictures and we made this amazing video showing off our day thrifting!
Ivan followed us around Saturday with the camera while we did our thrifting business. After we got back to my house we almost immediately starting editing. All four of us cuddled up around Elycia's computer until midnight when we finally had it mostly done. It was so much fun to make, and help edit.

Hope you enjoyed getting a peek into our day, and seeing me move for the first time ever! Hah!

    1. I hope you bought that parasol

    2. I am glad that I am not the only one does the "OMG I CAN'T BELIEVE I FOUND THESE BOOTS HERE!" dance in the shoe aisles of thrift stores. Mine, is not as cute though and usually involves me clutching them for dear life and growling at passerbys.

    3. I hope Elycia got that yellowish dress with the ruffles and black buttons.

    4. What thrift store are you at? Sadly ours out here have started lacking in good finds.

  9. So cute! You guys did a great job with the video. It really makes me miss thrifting with my best friend in Ohio. The stores here in Wyoming are not the same as Ohio. I collect Vintage Flower Pins, and have never seen that many together like that at a thrift store!! My favorite part of the video is when you fell in love with the blue cowboy boots and the excitement when you saw they were your size! Thanks for staying up till midnight to make such a cute video!

    Lizz, sadly, I didn't buy the parasol! I just can't picture myself using it but when I picked it up I did say something along the lines of "I wish I could use this" I'd feel so fancy!

  11. in Hungary, we haven't got thrift strores, where we can buy pretty vintage clothes and other things! I AM SO SAD! i really want to see a real thrift store. this is my new target.

  12. Oh gosh! This is such a marvelous video! I love to see how people are in real life instead of only see them in pictures. You guys are so cute! And I wish we had thrift stores like those in The Netherlands! In the few thriftstores I've been, they were all messy and not so pretty. :(

    So I am totally going to say the same to Elycia, but if ever you and Kevin do come to see her in Canada, you should a) totally do a Canadian version of this video (because it would reveal good thrift places in my neck of the woods, hah!) and b) Come to Niagara-on-the-Lake and check out some of the antique stores with me! NOTL is by the american border, on the way to Hamilton. It's also one of Canada's earliest historic towns, and is SUPER cute in the summers!! No really, all the houses have gingerbread on them, you can walk to have a picnic at lake Ontario, and every store seems to sell gelato. It's pretty rad. I'd show you gals a good time :).

    I can't believe how many vintage items are in your thrift store, I have to dig through the stores around here and sometimes find one item that I might love..

    Anyways, what town are these thrift stores in?? I live in Indiana and it might be worth taking a trip to go thrifting at some great places.. :)

  65. You are guys are adorable but those thrift stores?! Oh my god! We have NOTHING like that in Australia. Here thrift stores (we call them op-shops) are tiny and you are super lucky to find one vintage dress, let alone a whole rack of them! You guys are so lucky. I'm horribly jealous!

    My Unique Thrift for instance, is severely lacking in colorful flower broaches and a hat section. I have to say that I was honestly impressed by the vintage Playboy collection I spotted also!
