This is two things I really, really love - collars and teeth! I'm just dreaming of all the different things I could wear it with.

Sooo into this fox shirt from Modcloth. I see that Double Dutch Boutique had a matching dress, but it's now sold out.

This typewriter brooch is probably the most incredible brooch I've ever seen!

Elizabeth recently shared this super cute tutorial on how to make your own watermelon skirt.

I kind of super duper love fun office supplies. Jetpens has so many silly little notepads and things I love. Aren't those ginkgo leaf note pads so neat? We have a ginkgo tree (male, not one of the stinky seed producing females!) in our backyard so I feel some sort of odd attraction to them now, the leaves are just so pretty. (Jetpens also has these hilarious paper clips, the first thing that comes to my mind is The Human Centipede. I actually choked on my water laughing about it to myself.)

I recently found this blog full of strange views from Google Street View. I spent so long just scrolling and scrolling and scrolling. It's so amazing all the things caught on camera. Some of the views just seem so surreal, mostly because they're so different looking from what I'm used to. The photos below are some of my favorites. (Just a note; that blog might be NSFW for some!)

Hope you all have a fabulous Friday! It looks like it's going to be a rainy one here.

Mushroom crown?? What?? That is the cutest thing ever! My mister has always thought flower crowns were silly, but he loved Mario so maybe he'd be more open to me wearing mushroom crowns ;)

Omigosh! Those paperclips are so funny they just might end up as a birthday present for someone this year. Too much.
ReplyDeleteI think this might be my first comment on your blog!
ReplyDeleteWhile I was running on the treadmill at the gym watching cable tv (such an indulgence) I happened upon that oddities show. I would assume it is among your favourites...if it isn't, it SHOULD BE!!!
They were looking at antique taxidermy equipment, jewelry made with bones, a shrunken head...all kinds of interesting collectibles.
Made me think of you and your blog and your love of teeth :)

Wow, I use Google Street View all the time and I gotta say I have never seen anything like that. lol Some of the pictures are insane! Thanks for sharing. Have a great weekend. :)
ReplyDeleteThat collar is amazing!! I love teeth just as much as I believe you do and there's a fair possibility that I may not be able to survive without it!
ReplyDeleteIt's kind of addicting scrolling through Google Street View, I cracked up on the Garth and Wayne picture. There was another picture too of a normal building but on the door it had "Rod Steward Fan Club".
ReplyDeleteI love the brooch, it's so cute and fun. Something I've never seen before that's sure.
ReplyDeleteIt looks like the horse at the bottom is pregnant or something... it's a beautiful shot! I saw that collar yesterday on tumblr and immediately thought of you! And here it is the next day!
ReplyDeleteWoah Garth and Wayne? That's pretty cool...
ReplyDelete9 eyes is amazing. I'm speechless. Wow.
ReplyDeleteI've said it before, but your Friday faves are the best. I always leave having something fun to browse, new to watch, or feeling inspired!

ReplyDeleteThat is AWESOME!
DeleteHi there. I just wondered if you have ever heard of Tatty Devine http://www.tattydevine.com/
ReplyDeleteJust noticed some of the quirky jewellery you have been wearing recently and thought you would really like this brand. Don't think they are very big in USA, rather a little indie brand here in the UK. They are absolutley my favourite thing in the whole world! (and I checked they deliver to the US) x
I'd actually heard the name but had no idea what it was. They have SO MUCH cute stuff. Thanks for the link!! :)
DeleteThat collar is really cute! Definetly can see you rocking it! :)

Wow, Street View makes me feel kinda naked... I wonder if it doesn't border on being an infringement of personal privacy? o:

I so want a ginkgo-leaves notepad! There's a male ginkgo tree too near my campus. I once picked up one of the leaves from the ground (not to pluck it, coz it's unfair to the tree) and sent it to my boyfriend. My teacher adores it so much and thinks it's romantic. Can't wait to see it again!
ReplyDeleteIt looks like your week was full of cute inspiration! :)
ReplyDeleteOh goodness! I just scrolled through the first five or so pictures and up pops a picture of a lady in a black dress with her bum out... Crickey! What on EARTH was she doing? Why would you want to be known as the lady who got her bum out while they were taking pictures for street maps!? People are strange!
ReplyDeleteI am completely in love with the foxy-man shirt! Adorable :)
ReplyDeleteThe Wayne's World one is my absolute favourite. I've seen it before and it's amazing!
