This was our first and only big snow this winter so far. (all of the snow is melted now!) I was so layered up it wasn't even funny. I had dress under the one showing, three pairs of tights and a pair of socks under all of those. But it was worth it because the only part of me that got cold was my face! The wind was whipping so hard I was afraid my tripod was going to blow over!
I completely adore this dress, it kind of reminds me of this one, at least in the style of dress and how it fits. I wish I could have shown it off in this post but it was just to cold to be taking off my coat! I'm sure I'll wear it again soon!

I think this has to be one of my favorite outfits you've ever posted. I adore the dress and the tights, and I love how the boots match so well. I need to go shoe-shopping at Target more often!
ReplyDeleteWe've had an unusually small amount of snow in Erie too this winter. It makes me worried for what February/March is going to be like! I think we're supposed to get 2-4" tomorrow though, so we'll see -- right now it's just raining!

Love this outfit! I live in a typically cold climate (although it's been unseasonably warm lately) but I've never thought of layering tights and dresses! LOL, good thinking!

I've always lived in desert states, so snow and dressing for snow is a completely foreign concept to me. I love this outfit. ALSO, I love how there's snow on one side of the trees!

ReplyDeleteThis outfit put a big smile on my face. I so wish I had more dresses so I could cleverly (and adorably!) dress for winter. My mom was just saying how I need to buy winter boots, but I refused because I think they're ugly. These are actually pretty adorable! I might just have to go and buy similar ones from Target.
