FF #139

Are these Breaking Bad valentines the best thing ever? Yes, they are!
Love this cozy looking sweater! I saw the one of the reviewers commented on how weird it was when people read it out loud to you, which I agree would definitely take me a second to understand they were reading my shirt and not talking to me. Which actually reminds me of this one time at a flea market this guy was talking to me about my tattoos and he was like "oh, is that one new?" I responded "well, not really, it's been a few months" to which he said "Well it's new since that last time I saw you, right?" I had never been to this flea market before and I sure as heck had no idea who this guy was.

Love this pretty room! Hanging typewriters is a really cute idea, perhaps for when you have too many pretty ones and have no more room...?

I can't get over how pretty macarons are. I still have yet to try one. Perhaps I should put it on my 2012 goal list to try making some!

So absolutely in love with this photo.  You may not know this but I would LOVE to be in the circus, not now, but back in it's heyday. I daydream about what it would be like if I was born into the circus and was taught the trapeze at a really young age. I'd have a great stage name and wear fabulous sparkly costumes. That is literally the only job I'd ever want above what I do right now.

Such a pretty painting!

Can this be my bedroom?!
Smitten by this simple kitty illustration.

Love collections of globes! I have a small collection (5) on top of the hutch in my hall way but all of these would be nice additions!

 Fancy pup, you're too cute!

Eeep, how cute is this kitty!? ...want...to....squeeeeeeze!!

I just recently joined chictopia, if you're already member - lets be friends! You can find me here. If you're not a member but take outfit photos or just like fashion - you should join!

♥ Elsie shared a super cute tutorial how to paint your own chevron holga. So cute! I think I've got a few cameras that could use a make-over!

This paper lantern tutorial is so pretty. I need a couple of these hanging in my craft room!

I could probably sit here and spend allll day on this site. Hint: it has to do with cats!!

Hope you all have a fabulous Friday the 13th!
xoxo

  1. Great finds!
They're macarons not macaroons - they're quite different. Macarons are so yummy and come in so many fantastic colours and flavours :D
I really want to make some but apparently they're really tricky.

  3. Beth, thanks for the correction, but typos happen. ;)

  4. Safari could not handle the cuteness of all the animated cats and shut itself down.

I've never tried macarons myself either.

  5. The Blue Rabbit House, Hahaha! Sorry to give your browser cuteness overload! (ps. firefox handles all the gifs like a champ if you still want to get your kitten on!) :P

  6. I love that sweater, circus picture, and fancy pup! I'm also another person who shares your circus love. I used to think it'd be fantastic to run away and join the circus somewhere in Russia or Eastern Europe. I'd want to be a lion tamer!

  7. It might be a good idea to change browser, as the kittens are waaaay to addictive! :)

  8. I've always wanted to join the circus too! I love circus's, it would be too awesome to travel with a circus.
also love those Breaking Bad valentines cards.

  9. You must, must, must put tasting a macron on your list for 2012! It will change your view of desserts. I will hold off eating almost every other sweet if I know that I will stop by my favorite patisserie to pick up a chocolate macron!

  10. I have actually never eaten a macaroon either! I'm thinking we should definitely both try it out. :) (Though, are they tricky to make I wonder?) And those toadstool chairs (pillows?)! Eeeee! NEEED!

  11. Haha ha! That story about the flea market tattoo guy is hilarious.

And, I think macaroons are so pretty but they look way better than they taste.

    Happy Friday the 13th!

  12. Macarons are so good... but quite difficult to make if I trust my friends' experience. I never tried myself but they all had to try several time to succeed! You better start now :)

The BB cards are a bit nerdy, but great for "those who know"^^

if you liked catgifpage, try the Procatinator! http://procatinator.com/

    Have a happy Friday :)

  15. Last summer I travelled through France with my sister, but when I finally had my first macaron ever it was quite disappointing. I do hope we had just picked the wrong bakery!

  16. Ooh! It's Friday the 13th, my lucky day, yay! <3 ALSO, you posted a black kitty illustration. Double lucky!!!

Joining an olden days circus would be amazing. I like to think that my ancestors were gypsy's... Considering they were all born in Lithuanian, Finland and Germany, they prob. weren't... But still!

Oh and you MUST try a macaroon. For their dainty little shape, colorful colors and amazing taste!

  37. Hahaha. I love those breaking bad cards. That show was so good, and it actually had a good ending/closure (unlike maybe Battlestar Galactica which was awesome but the ending debatable - oh I'm geeking out, lol).

  38. Macaroons are definetly worth making!
I made some double almond mocha ones few months ago, and can't wait to make some more. The flavours are endless. I've seen rosewater, pistachio, to licorice!
I posted about them as well!

  40. I just love your Friday Favorite posts! I always wish I was born into a gypsy family(back in the good ol' days when gypsies lived in covered wagons and not trailer parks)but the circus is wonderful too! I absolutely love that cat illustration, speaking of cats: I have a Tumblr devoted to cats that I would love if you'd check it out! http://drowning-in-fur.tumblr.com/

  47. Love the typewriter room! I seriously need to acquire a great typewriter soon. Preferably in mint green or a pale pink. Those macrons are beautiful, I tried one for the first time a few months back and I was not disappointed. They are notoriously difficult to make but props to you if you try!

  49. I love the typewriters hanging at the wall! But I wouldn't trust that, I would always be terrified that they'd fall off..

    ReplyDelete
  50. Trader Joe's has macorons in their freezer section that are delicious. There are only two flavors in the box and they aren't terribly colorful but they are so good!

    ReplyDelete
  51. I've never actually celebrated valentine's day- decision with the boy at the very beginning that we both didn't buy into it as a very "us" day. All that said, those cards completely rock and I'm seriously re-thinking that stance just so I can send one (well, receive one- perhaps I'll just send it to myself!)

    ReplyDelete
  52. That children's room is just fantastic! And oh, you definitely need to try Macaron's- make sure it's a good one! Because they are so popular these days everyone & their local coffee shop seem to sell them, but they are often too chewy or dense. I tried them for the first time in Japan & almost died over a lemon one with vanilla buttercream *nom!*

  53. Love the breaking bad valentines! they are awesome!!

  54. Oh wow I love that bedroom! We had macaroons in Paris just before Christmas, Yummalicious! I don't understand why they're so expensive though!
