Love this cozy looking sweater! I saw the one of the reviewers commented on how weird it was when people read it out loud to you, which I agree would definitely take me a second to understand they were reading my shirt and not talking to me. Which actually reminds me of this one time at a flea market this guy was talking to me about my tattoos and he was like "oh, is that one new?" I responded "well, not really, it's been a few months" to which he said "Well it's new since that last time I saw you, right?" I had never been to this flea market before and I sure as heck had no idea who this guy was.

Love this pretty room! Hanging typewriters is a really cute idea, perhaps for when you have too many pretty ones and have no more room...?

I can't get over how pretty macarons are. I still have yet to try one. Perhaps I should put it on my 2012 goal list to try making some!

So absolutely in love with this photo. You may not know this but I would LOVE to be in the circus, not now, but back in it's heyday. I daydream about what it would be like if I was born into the circus and was taught the trapeze at a really young age. I'd have a great stage name and wear fabulous sparkly costumes. That is literally the only job I'd ever want above what I do right now.

Smitten by this simple kitty illustration.

Love collections of globes! I have a small collection (5) on top of the hutch in my hall way but all of these would be nice additions!

♥ This paper lantern tutorial is so pretty. I need a couple of these hanging in my craft room!
♥ I could probably sit here and spend allll day on this site. Hint: it has to do with cats!!

Great finds!
ReplyDeleteThey're macarons not macaroons - they're quite different. Macarons are so yummy and come in so many fantastic colours and flavours :D
I really want to make some but apparently they're really tricky.
Lovelyy things :)
ReplyDeleteI can totally relate to you on the circus thing.
& that cat gif site (!!) Yess.
Beth, thanks for the correction, but typos happen. ;)
ReplyDeleteSafari could not handle the cuteness of all the animated cats and shut itself down.
ReplyDeleteI've never tried macarons myself either.
The Blue Rabbit House, Hahaha! Sorry to give your browser cuteness overload! (ps. firefox handles all the gifs like a champ if you still want to get your kitten on!) :P
ReplyDeleteI love that sweater, circus picture, and fancy pup! I'm also another person who shares your circus love. I used to think it'd be fantastic to run away and join the circus somewhere in Russia or Eastern Europe. I'd want to be a lion tamer!
ReplyDeleteIt might be a good idea to change browser, as the kittens are waaaay to addictive! :)
ReplyDeleteI've always wanted to join the circus too! I love circus's, it would be too awesome to travel with a circus.
ReplyDeletealso love those Breaking Bad valentines cards.
You must, must, must put tasting a macron on your list for 2012! It will change your view of desserts. I will hold off eating almost every other sweet if I know that I will stop by my favorite patisserie to pick up a chocolate macron!
ReplyDelete-Elisha
I have actually never eaten a macaroon either! I'm thinking we should definitely both try it out. :) (Though, are they tricky to make I wonder?) And those toadstool chairs (pillows?)! Eeeee! NEEED!
ReplyDeleteHaha ha! That story about the flea market tattoo guy is hilarious.
ReplyDeleteAnd, I think macaroons are so pretty but they look way better than they taste.
Happy Friday the 13th!
Macarons are so good... but quite difficult to make if I trust my friends' experience. I never tried myself but they all had to try several time to succeed! You better start now :)
ReplyDeleteThe BB cards are a bit nerdy, but great for "those who know"^^
if you liked catgifpage, try the Procatinator! http://procatinator.com/
Have a happy Friday :)
Your ff posts are always so good. i look forward to reading them each week. you find the best stuff... seriously
ReplyDeleteI wonder how they were able to hang those typewriters?!
ReplyDeleteLast summer I travelled through France with my sister, but when I finally had my first macaron ever it was quite disappointing. I do hope we had just picked the wrong bakery!
ReplyDeleteOoh! It's Friday the 13th, my lucky day, yay! <3 ALSO, you posted a black kitty illustration. Double lucky!!!
ReplyDeleteJoining an olden days circus would be amazing. I like to think that my ancestors were gypsy's... Considering they were all born in Lithuanian, Finland and Germany, they prob. weren't... But still!
Oh and you MUST try a macaroon. For their dainty little shape, colorful colors and amazing taste!
I love Breaking Bad! Such an awesome series. (It's relatively unknown in the U.K at the mo)
ReplyDeleteGirl you can totally run away with the circus! Just find a circus school and get working - I did!
ReplyDeleteCat Gif Page is the BEST. It's quite entertaining when your bored on the internet. =D
ReplyDeleteAlso, I might use that lantern idea for my wedding. So adorable and festive!
Sarah, do NOT encourage me. As soon as I get my license this spring I'm checking out my local aerial classes all because of you! Seriously, I drool over your pictures!! <3
ReplyDeleteKaylah - did you know I do aerials? You should give it a try!

Especially that last link.. Ohmy I've been on it for at least an hour by now..
ReplyDeleteI love that circus, elephant photo. I LOVE elephants. I would love to work with them. Thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteHaha I also wanted to be in the circus when I was a little girl. I practiced cartwheels and balancing for hours in our garden :)

Love your list today.
ReplyDeleteBy the way, I have already wasted like an hour looking at cat gifs!
Those are the best Valentines ever!
ReplyDeleteLove that bedroom! How whimsical.

You have to ate macaroons :D I ate some in 2009, great flavor
ReplyDeletebut I need to buy macaroons from France.
These Valentine cards are amazing! I laughed out loud! haha
ReplyDeleteThe breaking bad valentines are my favorite! "Ding ding!"

ugh seriously such cute images. i'm in love with the foresty themed room.
ReplyDeleteLol - that's pretty creepy about that guy and his comment about your (new) tattoo. People are so weird sometimes!
ReplyDeletethank you so much for linking that cat gif website!! Holy crap I never laughed so hard at cats!
ReplyDeleteHahaha. I love those breaking bad cards. That show was so good, and it actually had a good ending/closure (unlike maybe Battlestar Galactica which was awesome but the ending debatable - oh I'm geeking out, lol).
ReplyDeleteMacaroons are definetly worth making!
ReplyDeleteI made some double almond mocha ones few months ago, and can't wait to make some more. The flavours are endless. I've seen rosewater, pistachio, to licorice!
I posted about them as well!

Much love, Vivi
Love the friday favorites series so much, and I was finally inspired to do my own version!: http://lindsayharmony.blogspot.com/2012/01/friday-favorite-movies.html =]
ReplyDelete<3,
lindsay
I just love your Friday Favorite posts! I always wish I was born into a gypsy family(back in the good ol' days when gypsies lived in covered wagons and not trailer parks)but the circus is wonderful too! I absolutely love that cat illustration, speaking of cats: I have a Tumblr devoted to cats that I would love if you'd check it out! http://drowning-in-fur.tumblr.com/
ReplyDeleteCan it be my bedroom too ! and i would love the picture of the circus in the bedroom aswell ;) When i was young i used to be in a circus school and i loved it !!!
ReplyDeleteHave a good wweek-end ! xxx
Maybe that creepy guy at the market was a reader of your blog? But, most likely he was just a creep haha.
ReplyDeleteIf you are interested in old circus life, there's a very interest memoir called "From Circus Queen to Tinkerbell" it's the life story of Tiny Kline. highly recommended.
ReplyDeleteI think after following this blog for these last few years I have *finally* realised why I love it so much .... all the cute and funny Kitty links / photos / videos!!
ReplyDeleteThank you for feeding my cat addiction Kaylah =D xx
this is my first valentines day, in a while, that i'll have a boyfriend. can't wait to use those cards as inspiration as i make some of my own !
ReplyDeletegorgeous pieces, thanks for sharing
ReplyDeleteLove the typewriter room! I seriously need to acquire a great typewriter soon. Preferably in mint green or a pale pink. Those macrons are beautiful, I tried one for the first time a few months back and I was not disappointed. They are notoriously difficult to make but props to you if you try!
ReplyDeletewww.qacreate.com
lol, those breaking bad valentines are the best! i miss that show, thanks for sharing them :)
ReplyDeleteI love the typewriters hanging at the wall! But I wouldn't trust that, I would always be terrified that they'd fall off..
ReplyDeleteTrader Joe's has macorons in their freezer section that are delicious. There are only two flavors in the box and they aren't terribly colorful but they are so good!
ReplyDeleteI've never actually celebrated valentine's day- decision with the boy at the very beginning that we both didn't buy into it as a very "us" day. All that said, those cards completely rock and I'm seriously re-thinking that stance just so I can send one (well, receive one- perhaps I'll just send it to myself!)
ReplyDeleteThat children's room is just fantastic! And oh, you definitely need to try Macaron's- make sure it's a good one! Because they are so popular these days everyone & their local coffee shop seem to sell them, but they are often too chewy or dense. I tried them for the first time in Japan & almost died over a lemon one with vanilla buttercream *nom!*
ReplyDeleteLove the breaking bad valentines! they are awesome!!
ReplyDeleteOh wow I love that bedroom! We had macaroons in Paris just before Christmas, Yummalicious! I don't understand why they're so expensive though!
ReplyDeleteElla
Hey! this is the first time I comment.. but I really wanted to tell you that you had inspired me a lot to stop being lazy and finish everything I start... Sometimes your posts are really weird for me but I think is awesome having something unique.. Thank you for the inspiration..

Macarons are on my list this year to make also. And getting a globe is too!
