Pymatuning Deer Park.

On Wednesday my mom took my nephew, two of my nieces and I to Pymatuning Deer Park, it's like a family owned mini-zoo. They have over 250 animals including lots of goats, a lion, some black bears, a zebra, cougars, some monkeys, a bunch of birds and more! It was probably one of the last few times I'll get to spend time with the kids before they go back to school (plus I can never resist an opportunity to take photos of animals) so I took the day off work.
The only animals that had me ooh-ing and ahhh-ing were the....
They were absolutely precious. They had tons of room to run and play but seemed to mostly enjoy being up close and personal with park visitors. At the front gate crackers for the animals were sold, so we had fun trying to only feed the smallest of each kind of animal - the big guys were so pushy!

    At our local zoo you can go into the same area as the deer, they seem to love chasing people around.

  12. So pretty! I love all kinds of animals, but I think on these pics you can see that deer are animals that are equally cute whether they're babies or grown-ups. Adorable!

  15. They're precious! There was a deer in our fairs petting zoo this year and it followed my husband around like he was a Disney princess in a past life! So cute!

  18. AW it reminds me of Deer Forest~ a petting zoo in Coloma, MI... except the deer there are free wandering... they'll get pretty close, but i've never fed them from my hand. that's a pretty sweet park you found :)

  24. Here in Australia these guys are everywhere ! At my family's cattle stud it would we unusual not to see at least 30 fellow deer per day! Glad you guys are looking after them they are declared a ' Pest' here. :(

  27. They are so pretty =) I don't think we have that kind of park around here :( The only one I have been to was in Germany :o

  34. The deer are so cute! In my country in the zoo now there's a baby deer and I saw how the're feeting it with bottle with milk, it was so cute :D

  38. I had a neighbor growing up who had a couple of deer in his backyard. It was fun for a 10 year old to go and feed them on the weekend. This looks like it was much fun!
