Your posts are always lovely, but these photos really made me smile too!
ReplyDeleteI so totally agree on the comfort food. Nothing beats a good cup of noodles. I use Knorr Aromat instead of butter.
ReplyDeleteBtw, you're one silly girl to scan yourself!
I adore this post!
ReplyDeleteThe pot holders are adorable! And that mug, oh my goodness! Awesome!
Buttered noodles are the best. And that picture of you scanning yourself is so funny!
ReplyDeleteYou hair color is looking sooo pretty!
ReplyDeleteAnd I can't wait to try scanning myself ;)
The last photo made my day... how cute is that kitty??

whoa that picture of you scanning yourself looks kind of like one of those under water photos. very cool! plus im sure it IS super fun haha.
ReplyDeletehehe!! I love your cat! My kitties do that too and we always humor them and say "where, oh where is Anastasia?" Even though we can see her but sticking out from under the chair. :)
ReplyDeleteOh I love buttered noodles, and kitties that think they are hiding! What cuties!
ReplyDeleteThis post made me smile. My cat thinks she's being stealthy, sitting super-still watching the pigeons... whilst chirruping loudly for mysterious feline reasons of her own.
ReplyDeleteThe picture of you scanning yourself reminds me Tori Amos, From The Choirgirl Hotel album.
ReplyDeleteAh, noodles and butter sounds absolutely delicious!
ReplyDeletehaha I love the scanned photo!! I need to try that.. I used to copy myself on my parents copy machine at work all the time, but I've never thought to scan ;-D
ReplyDeletelove the scanning yourself bit, I must try this and the kittens who think they are hiding!
ReplyDeleteI love just noodles with butter, sea salt, and black pepper. And I'm ever-envious of your owlish-things collection!
ReplyDeleteNOOOODLES! :) I personally prefer mine with oodles of cheese. Squid is too funny! My pups do that all the time I just poke them lightly in the bum and they turn around like 'dang it, you got me!' I also LOVE the fake mushrooms in your pots- I have little terracotta worms with smiley faces in my pots.
ReplyDeletePardon my faux pas- I meant Professor (sorry Stingray!!!)
ReplyDeletethis is my favorite comfort food too! (with lots of peppercorn!)
ReplyDeleteLove the cats thinking they are hiding... :)
This is such a happy post, it's really made my day a lot better :D.
ReplyDeleteThe scanning yourself... I've never done that. But it looks so tempting now.

ReplyDeletenoodles and butter. AND grilled cheese sandwiches. you are speaking my food language!
ReplyDeletelove this post! owls, mushrooms, a beautiful typewriter, buttons & ....your blue hair is absolutely beautiful!!!
ReplyDeleteAll I ate when I was a kid was noodles, but with gravy. My whole family told me I was going to turn into one.
ReplyDeleteAh, this post has got to be one of my favorites now! :3 Especially the scanner shot, I'm gonna have to go try that now, haha. Toodles~!
ReplyDeleteHey, you just made me smile! the picture of the professor is sooo cute!
ReplyDeleteso, you know a good vegan butter? or do you use real butter?

ReplyDeleteAnd I love when kitties hide like that!
noodles and butter<33
ReplyDeleteoh and I really like the picture you scanned of yourself(:
It's always in the little things! I love buttered noodles... my Bear makes noodles with butter, olive oil, pesto, oregano and basil (sometimes fresh from the garden) that I crave constantly. I prefer bow tie noodles, because they are fancy! haha
ReplyDeleteAlso, I now wish to scan myself!
how's your deck and gardening coming?
ReplyDeleteDid your Target mushrooms fade in the sun because mine did?!
ReplyDeleteI loved that you scanned yourself and your kitty is so cute! These things are all so adorable! I can see why they make you smile! :)

ReplyDeleteThe hiding kitten is so cute :)
ReplyDeleteI immediately thought of this project: http://www.faceyourpockets.com/index1.html when I saw your number 7.

So best I can give you is my email,

Haha! What an amazing post, all of your photos made me smile. :)
ReplyDeleteHave a great day!

You forgot kittens who tear around the house, sounding like a herd of elephants. I get that one a lot.
ReplyDeleteIt's usually followed by "mysterious crashing sound that never truly reveals its source"...
mmm... there's nothing better than pasta with butter. I love it with freshly cracked pepper, salt and a bit of freshly grated parm cheeses. Yum!

Haha, the last picture reminds me of a Portuguese expression: "Gato escondido com o rabo de fora."
ReplyDeleteTranslated literally: "Cat hidden with its tail out." xD
What IS it about button jars? My mother always had one, and my grandmothers too. As a little kid I always loved admiring all the colorful little buttons that filled the jars. They're just SO lovely in a beautifully simple way.
ReplyDelete#1 - I am jealous of your exquisite button collection! My one jar just cringed.
ReplyDelete#2 - That mug is fan-freakin-tastic, where-o-where did you get it?
p.s. I adore your friday favorites posts!
Warmest Wishes~
he he - love this!! :)
ReplyDeleteHaha, kittens who think they're hiding are ridiculously funny. My little cat does it all the time - he "hides" behind a water bottle and is convinced I wouldn't notice when he hops on the table (which he isn't allowed to do).
ReplyDeleteSomebody who likes buttered noodles =^.^=
