It's the little things...

like a squirrel with a mouthful!
To tell you what he's stealing from me, you'd have to know that I lazily left up my corn stalks from fall. They were tied onto my deck as decoration and in my defence it started snowing really soon after halloween and I didn't have time to get outside to take them down. Buuuut I'm glad, if I had taken them down I'd have never gotten to watch this little cutie take huge mouthfuls of the cornstalks and take them to his nest. What a cutie!

  1. wow, you've got some great shots. usually squirrels are so quick and sudden in their movements, it's hard to catch them in these moments. in the first one, it almost looks like he's posing just for you! awesome work!

  3. Awww.... I adore squirrels! (though not so much the ones that built a mansion in my attic, and proceeded to have dance parties over my bedroom at night. we had to evict them. now they've moved to our porch, which is much less noisy haha) These pics are precious!

  12. I LOVE when squirrels steal stuff! They are too too cute. These pictures are precious. We have one that I think has lived near us for the past 4 years that we've lived in our house. He comes to look at us through our kitchen window almost every morning! I squeal every time. Why do they have to be so freaking cute!?
