ReplyDeleteFunny! The squirrels here do the same thing to my puppies! Although...a few have fallen from the tree and we had to give them funerals...before letting the dogs out I might add! Thanks for sharing...this proves one thing to me...you should be a professional animal photographer...seriously...no one captures animals quite like you! hearts, Janna Lynn

hahahh! They are cute lil' fella's aren't they? We have a telephone wire that spans our backyard which I like to call the "squirrel freeway." They dart back and forth driving my dogs bonkers. My dogs jump up doing backflips trying to get them... but they never do fall!
ReplyDeleteA couple of years ago I went to New Orleans (I'm from New Zealand) and my friend over there took me to a whole bunch of plantations and these big huge old southern houses to have a gander at...which were awesome and wonderful... the thing that got me the most excited? seeing a squirrel. kid you not, I was squee-ing like mad. :)

ReplyDeleteThey are so mischievous! When I was a kid, we had these big glass sliding doors to the back yard and we'd sit at the table and watch the squirrels tease our dogs. They would come down the trees to within INCHES of where our dogs could reach. Just to tease!

Hahahaha, oh my gosh, that last picture. I laughed so loud. I love squirrels too, but sometimes they are so EVIL! I swear, they must be saying some pretty nasty stuff in their squirrel language. There's no other reason my dog would hate them so much!

ReplyDeletesquirrels are so funny and i love the way they scamper! we have TONS in our front yard. we can hear them run across our roof and they LOVE to hang upside down and eat the nuts from the palm trees and they also LOVE to dig up anything that i plant and hide nuts in replacement. there is one that hangs out on our porch time to time drinking from my water pail..they provide a lot of entertainment for us :D
