FF #81

The cutest tea infuser. I'm not a tea drinker but if I was I'd have this in a heartbeat!

I want to live there, or at least snoop around inside. It's so beautiful.

This is a gorgeous photo and I have a serious itch to go to an aquarium (sadly there aren't any close!)

So pretty and organized. (plus her collection of lip balms is comparable to mine!)

I am in love! Crocheted octopus in a jar!

Icicles dyed with food coloring, dreamy! Dear icicles on my house, you better watch out! ;)

  1. Aquarium, cozy fort, art supplies! Love all the colors here :)

That tea infuser is SUPER CUTE but as a tea drinker...it wouldn't leave enough room for the tea leaves to spread out and really make a tasty brew. Important, especially if you pay a lot for your tea.

  16. I'm pretty sure the second last picture is an art installation. My friend and I went to see a feminist art exhibit in Vancouver a couple of years ago and I'm 99% positive that was set up there almost the same.. it was filled with uncovered mattresses and a weird movie was playing on the tv. You could take your shoes off and go inside :)

  19. Cat Island oh my ! This has to be the best place in the world ! And I did try the sticker on the cat once, really funny the way they walk, mine tried to jump on the couch and... failed :) (no harm done though), though you want to make sure the sticker isn't too sticky or you might pull a few hairs off :/

  21. Hi!! I am very very certain that I saw that installation at the Tate Modern in London in about September of 2007, I remember it was on the second floor and it was free admission, but I can't remember for the life of me the name of the artist involved.

"I made a kind of over sized fantasy-reproduction of a teenager hut, the one I was never allowed to keep for a very long time in the basement of my parents house. The fantasy involved stealing the furniture from my parents and re-arranging them the way I pleased, filling the interior with activities to eliminate boredom. I wanted the construction to function as a free area of escape and nostalgia, a chill-out zone for the eternal teenager within..."
