Part two is large polka dots. I prefer larger polka dots to be honest, they're more obnoxious. My secret:
Dual-Tip Stylus Embossing Tool
! You can find one at your local craft store (mine was near the scrapbooking supplies) or on the link I just posted. Here's how; Take your nail polish brush and dab it on a paper plate (or other surface you don't mind dirtying up). Don't put too much down or it'll dry up before you finish your nails and will be wasted.
Now dip the tip of your embossing tool into the nail polish and polka dot your nails! It might take a few tries before you figure out the perfect amount to put on the embossing tool so that the polka dots aren't huge and runny or small and barely showing. Make sure to clean off the embossing tool when finished or else the polish will dry there!
Simple as that!
xoxo!

Brilliant! I can't wait to try it!
ReplyDeleteI like that the reason you like big polka dots better is because they're more "obnoxious." LOL, makes me laugh.
ReplyDeleteoh your nails are so lovely!! i've been so boring lately and just doing plain solid colors. i'm pretty partial to stripes but haven't done my nails all stripey in what feel like forever, hmmm....i might have to break out the nailpolish tonight!
ReplyDeleteSuper cute!
ReplyDeleteI love the shade of purple that you used, do you happen to have the name of it? I have an insane nail polish collection but I have yet to find the perfect purple. This one looks just right, I'd love to try it. :D

ReplyDeleteReally, COULD polka dots ever be obnoxious? ; )
